Northwestern Lake Forest is a not-for-profit community hospital that offers an unmatched continuum of healthcare services. Northwestern Lake Forest’s 700 extraordinary physicians are trained in 90 specialties and a team of top-ranked nurses provides the communities it serves with the utmost personal and compassionate care.
Feinberg School of Medicine has a faculty of 3,129 professionals dedicated to research and teaching. In 2011 alone, Feinberg research awards totaled $284 million and researchers filed 59 invention disclosures. More than 2,500 medical and graduate students, physician assistants, residents and fellows receive their education and training at Feinberg each year, and the school consistently ranks among the nation’s best.
During fiscal year 2011, Northwestern Memorial HealthCare contributed $279.4 million in community benefit, with $51.8 million provided in charity care alone.
